I am a barrister of Inner Temple and of the Bar of Sierra Leone. I live in London and practise primarily in the Royal Courts of Justice, the Central London County Court and other courts and tribunals in the South of England.

I specialize in media work including libel, slander injurious falsehood, breach of confidence, copyright and related rights, data protection, freedom of information and freedom of expression. I also undertake and defend prosecutions under the criminal provisions of the Copyright Designs and Patents, Trade Marks, Data Protection and Computer Misuse Acts.

Born in London, educated at Annie Walsh Memorial School in Freetown, the University of Warwick, School of Oriental and African Studies, South Bank University and the Inns of Court School of Law, I was called to the Bar in November 1995. After pupillage in Doughty Street and Tooks Court. During my pupillage I assisted in McDonald's Corporation and Others v Steel and Another which is where I began to develop my interest in defamation, freedom of expression and human rights law.

I entered chambers in Gray's Inn from where I practise concurrently.
